Accounts/Payroll Clerk

We have restructured an existing position and are seeking a part-time Accounts/Payroll Clerk for 15 hours per week. Ideally, this will involve working 3 hours per day (Monday to Friday) although there is room for some flexibility.  Initially, this position will be on a 12-month fixed term basis whilst we evaluate the role/responsibilities/hours.

Maintenance Officer

With the impending retirement of the current Maintenance Officer, Steve Winter, after 40 years' loyal and dedicated service, we are seeking a full-time Maintenance Officer with trades experience to assist with general maintenance for the two residential colleges.  Consideration could also be given to two part-time roles.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

Alongside proven handyman skills, the ability to exercise sound judgement in regards to buildings/plant upkeep is important.

Dining Supervisor

Are you seeking a front-line role in hospitality? This role involves serving meals to students at a Hall of Residence catering to the tertiary sector.

This role involves interacting with a diverse range of students who are away from home usually for the first time and experiencing all the ups and downs that go with this critical time in their development.

As such, we are looking for a real people person that can relate to the students as well as offering support where needed.  Previous experience in front of house roles, retail or having worked with young people is highly desirable. Someone with a mature and well-adjusted approach that can listen as well as having some fun is a must!

The role involves serving meals to students as well as helping setup the servery. You will also be required to help with the cleaning of the servery bar and dining room. If you have experience in cooking or food preparation this would also be an advantage as there is potential to help with this as well.

The role is approx. 20-40 hours per week with the ability to work extra shifts if a part-time position is preferred. The hours of work are some morning shifts and afternoon shifts over the week and the need to work some weekends.
