This is awarded to residents who display selfless behaviour and/or acts of kindness towards others. Students can be nominated by their Residential Leader or fellow residents.The first recipient of The Spirit of Salmond Award for 2018 is Lilly Downing. Lilly is an ex Waitaki Girls student who has been involved in everything to date, is a wonderful support person for others and will perform at our next formal dinner.

Congratulations to Laura MacCulloch who was placed third in the womens under 20 400 metres. Laura also gained a silver and bronze medal in the Otago Womens Relay team.
